NO ONE ever called in sick over a blister, we're told (Mail). Well, I nearly ended up without a degree because of killer heels.

Three years of hard work could have Richard Mille Watch been wasted when I fell and fractured my leg in those shoes, ten days before my Finals. I revised for and took those exams in terrible pain.

I can hardly believe how many socalled intelligent women are demanding the 'right' to wear those shoes. If an employer required me to wear heels as part of my role, I'd refuse to take free Stone Bracelets the job rather than endure the pain of broken bones again.

Nadine Dorries MP, not exactly known for her defence of women's rights, speaks for every female's right to wear heels. All I can say is that Ms Dorries certainly does not speak for me. Why
embroidered patches is it that the more rights women believe they should have in the workplace, the more they feel they must dress according to outmoded ideas of femininity? I applaud the TUC's stand on this issue. It's time those evil shoes were consigned to the dustbin of history.

Mrs ELENA HUNTINGFORD, London W10.
